Two weeks ago I moved to Toronto and am living on my own in my first condo. It's been a lot of fun; meeting new people, hanging out with old friends and staying up past the last GO train back to the suburbs.
I've also been having a great time decorating my place. I'm trying to make my home more personal by adding family photographs to walls and on tables. But I am also letting the fashion obsession come out in the decoration; stacks of fashion magazines against the walls and under the coffee table; fashion drawings on the walls, random bags strewn about and coffee table books lying around.
Like I said in the post title, it's a work in progress but I'm excited at my start. My current project is getting a bunch of Vogue covers and my favourite fashion photographs and putting them on my wall like a collage.
What do you guys do in your home that shows your fashion side?

Oooh how exciting!! I LOVE peeping at other people's houses. I am obsessed with interiors and have zillion of magazines. I am planning on revamping my house, once I get off my ass and stop procrastinating. I do love what you have done with your magazines by meshing them into your home. Looks great and what a brill way to keep onto your mags. I have lots of ideas on bringing out my inner fashion into my home but it is just getting them together. I guess I need to do a moodboard so I can collate all my ideas together.
A moodboard is such a great way to get all your ideas together! I had this idea of putting up a board filled with clippings of fashion inspiration and changing it with the mood strikes.
I have a tiny 12'x14' space but there's a giant fashion collage over my bed that I keep adding to, a rack of fashion magazines againsta wall, and an old mannequin I redress when I get outfit ideas (my roomate across the hall keep stealing it tho). I also have a shelf full of thread...
